Call 519-796-4539 to schedule a bin delivery!
There are two easy methods to order your waste disposal bin. Call us at 1 (519) 796-4539 and speak to Alyssa. This is the quickest and easiest method. Or submit a request using our online contact form.
To schedule a bin delivery we need the following things:
- Full Name, Phone Number and Delivery address for the bin.
- Email address for invoice to be emailed.
- The weight requirement you want to purchase so we can create the invoice.
- Any special instructions for the bin placement.
Delivery schedules are usually done a day in advance depending on bin availability. So the sooner you call and book - the better we can try to accommodate your delivery needs. We understand things can come up unexpectedly and a bin may be required at short notice - we will do everything we can to fit you in the schedule but some flexibility on your part may be required.
At the current time we are only accepting payment by an Etransfer.
After we have received all of the required information from you, an invoice will be emailed to you and it will show the amount owing. All E-transfers are to be made to tommybins.essexcounty@gmail.com and received by us before the bin will be left at the delivery address.
After we have made your disposal - if you should go over the weight you paid for - a new invoice will be emailed to you for immediate payment. Your weigh bill will be attached so you may see the difference. Weight overages are charged at $70 + HST / ton.
When scheduling your bin delivery we discuss any special instructions for the bin placement at that time so you are not required to be there for the actual delivery. The driver also calls the phone number provided when they are on their way to confirm your delivery. The only thing we need from you is to make sure the delivery area/path is/stays clear of any vehicles, debris, or obstructions so our truck and trailer have the manoeuvrability to make the drop off or pick up of the bin.
Bin rentals are for 5 days. Your invoice will show the drop off /pick up dates. If you require it picked up sooner - please give us a call and we will accommodate the early pick up a best we can.
PLEASE NOTE: Week days and Weekends are all considered in the daily rental allowance . Weekends are not free.
Our bins have rolling wheels at the bottom to assist in placing the bin. We also place wood blocks under the bin. With that being said, these bins are extremely heavy and with some weather conditions it may still be possible for damage to occur. If conditions are to wet and damage is likely, we may require a rescheduling of the drop off/pick up.
We do not recommend this because the weight of the bin will definitely cause damage to the grass. It could potentially cause other issues to your property beyond our control. We have however dropped bins off on the customers lawn with their written approval in advance with the knowledge that there is a high risk of damage that can occur and we are not in any way liable.
Absolutely not. Bylaws do not allow for this to happen. And bin delivery will not take place if we come across this situation. Bins cannot overhang sidewalks, neighbours property, be placed on the road or in alley ways. For parking lot deliveries - written permission from building owner, landlord etc. will be required.
⚠️ PROHIBITED WASTE THAT IS NOT ACCEPTED FOR DISPOSAL ⚠️

We are restricted by transportation regulations on the weight of a truck and the method in which it is being transported. Depending on the material loaded in the bin - you could have reached your weight limit even though the bin is not yet full. All materials have different weights. A cover/tarp must also be able to go over the bin to stop debris from flying out while transporting.
Our bins can be filled to the top of the walls as long as nothing is sticking out and everything is packed inside the bin. Having contents hanging over the sides and overflowing will cause issues for our staff when picking up the bin and ensuring that the contents remain in the bin during transportation.
You may be required to remove items if the driver is not able to pick up the bin and transport it safely.
